Swiss Jardin My favorite restaurant in Puerto Plata, on the Malecon facing the ocean. James and his wife serve great food at reasonable prices.

| Nellys' at Long Beach. Nelly is a Swiss lady that has a fine little restaurant on the Long Beach corner.

TJ's Canadian Bar at Long Beach. Russ a Canadian runs this bar / restaurant and is a favorite spot for the English speaking crowd to hang out at.

| Yellow Beards on Av Duarte. Maria keeps the music volume down so the foreigners aren't chased away. A nice friendly bar with cheap drinks and north American music.

Restaurant on road to Moca. On the road between Caberete and Moca is a view not to be missed. This restaurant sits on top of the mountain with a view from about 7000 feet to the Santiago valley below.

Typical Dominican bar on the port road. Open from 11am till 2am each day. Cheap drinks and loud music.

Crystals at Long Beach. A strip club with lots of beautiful girls and over priced drinks.

| el Ferry Disco. A Dominican disco on the road towards Costambar. If you like to dance there will be lots who will love to dance with you there.

Portofinos Restaurant. This quiet bar and restaurant just up the road from Long Beach serves the best pizza in town.

Gladys Bar. This is what you'll see out in the countryside if you care to stop for a cool one. Friendly and relaxing, a true Dominican experience.
